The European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics has become a traditional biennial meeting for statisticians from European Member States, National Statistical Institutes, International Organisations and Academies.

The Conference is intended to serve as a forum at a European level for discussing recent developments and achievements in the field of quality and methodologies for survey statistics, with a special focus on official statistics.

The Q2008 Conference will be jointly hosted by Istat - the Italian National Institute of Statistics - and Eurostat.

Methodological training courses are going to be held on 8 July at a Congress Centre in the area nearby Termini railway station and ISTAT headquarters.

The Q2008 Conference is going to be held from 9 to 11 July at Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi Via G. Frescobaldi 5, 00198 Rome.
